I don't understand

Why is it when we say how we feel, it’s not always  the truth?

Why do we forget all the good time, and remember the bad?

Why do we never seem to think before we act?

I don’t understand.

Why do we hate people who aren’t like us?

Why do they seem to love us?

Why  do people blame their problems on others?

I don’t understand.

I don’t understand why we do this.

But I do understand one thing.

We’ll always be kind to the ones we love,

And they’ll be the same way.
